What's Great About Siskiyou County...

Siskiyou County is a terrific area to live, work and play.  We have a very low crime rate, great communities and wonderful recreational opportunities.  From Skiing on Mount Shasta to rafting on the Klamath River, there is something for everyone.

Schools in Siskiyou County offer low student to teacher ratio and free after school (SAFE) programs until 6:00pm.  All our schools are supported by the Siskiyou County Office of Education which provides educational leadership, resources and services to Siskiyou County Districts and Schools.  They have information and report cards for each school on their website.

Siskiyou County is proud to be the home to a California Enterprise Zone. The Enterprise Zone Program allows only 42 zones in the entire state. The purpose of the program is to provide tax incentives to businesses to spur private capital investment in the local economy.
